Leadership Team

Born and raised in Liberia, West Africa, Victor E. Ward grew up in a community where resilience, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility for others were instilled in him from an early age. He was fortunate to have parents who dedicated their lives to supporting families and children in need, an example that shaped his own passion for service. Witnessing their selflessness, Victor developed a strong desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others, a commitment that has guided his personal and professional journey. 

Victor’s pursuit of education led him to the United States, where he was blessed with the opportunity to further his studies. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Film and Photography, a field that allowed him to creatively capture stories and shed light on important social issues. However, despite his love for the arts, he always felt a higher calling—one that involved directly serving people in a more hands-on capacity. 

With this purpose in mind, Victor transitioned into the healthcare field, where he found his true passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of others. He currently works as a Medical Technician, a role that allows him to utilize both his skills and his deep compassion for those in need. In this capacity, he provides essential care to patients, ensuring their well-being while upholding the highest standards of medical professionalism. His work is more than just a job; it is a fulfillment of his lifelong mission to serve others with kindness, dedication, and excellence. 

Recognizing the importance of leadership and sustainable impact, Victor is now furthering his education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Global Management. This advanced degree will equip him with the strategic knowledge and management skills necessary to expand his reach and enhance his ability to contribute to organizations dedicated to humanitarian efforts. 

Serving as a Board Member for ZMET is a dream come true for Victor, as it allows him to fully utilize his God-given gifts to create meaningful change—not just in his local community in the United States, but across the world, and sub-Saharan Africa. His role at ZMET enables him to be an integral part of initiatives that empower underprivileged communities, provide access to essential resources, and improve the quality of life for countless individuals. Through his work with the organization, he remains committed to fostering sustainable development, advocating for those in need, and inspiring others to join the mission of service. 

Victor firmly believes that true fulfillment comes from giving back and lifting others up. His journey—rooted in faith, shaped by experience, and driven by an unwavering commitment to humanitarian work—continues to inspire those around him.
